This collection consists of photographs of one-room schoolhouses, reports, brochures, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and rural school histories compiled by the University of Northern Iowa committee appointed to select a one-room schoolhouse for the campus. The Marshall Center School has been on the University of Northern Iowa campus since 1987.
