Tolle School

According to "Past and Present of Dallas County, Iowa: Primary Source Edition," written by R. F. Wood in 1869, the Tolle school had been built and in use before the surrounding town of Dawson began. It later burned down. By 1900 a new school was built in the same location to serve the children of Dawson. This building was torn down in the 1980s.
