Richard (Dick) L. Hansen

Richard was both a country school teacher and administrator. Prior to 1957, he was a teacher and principle at a high school in Rhodes, Iowa. He was also a principal at Cal Community School in Bristow, Iowa. In 1957, Richard was the Special Education Director in Chickasaw County, Iowa. Then, he continued with becoming the Special Education Director for both Chickasaw and Fayette Counties from 1958-1964. Finally, Richard was the Chickasaw County superintendent from 1964-1975.
