Eco+House

Wednesday, March 30, 2016 to Sunday, May 15, 2016

Eco+House is an interdisciplinary eco-art course aiming to creatively build environmental awareness and positive change. This eco-active exhibition highlights each student’s research into a chosen ecological issue and its impact on the local community. The students have turned statistics, graphs, interviews, fieldwork, and personal interactions into a range of works that cross art disciplines and engage with the audience in powerful, surprising and touching ways.

This exhibition has been created by Spring 2016 EcoHouse students in partnership with the UNI Museum and UNI CARES. The inaugural performances will occur on March 30th, from 12-3 at Maucker Union, and in the UNI Museum at 3:30. Performances and participatory works will be scheduled throughout the exhibit’s duration.
