Walnut Township #4 (Original Site)

Original school was built by the 1875 Andreas Atlas but was eventually torn down. A new school was built on the same land in 1926 or 1927 and was in use until at least 1941. Later was moved to its current day location next to a Valley Community School District elementary school. It is now a museum operated by the West Des Moines Historical Society.
