Walnut Center School

This Walnut Center School was built in 1922 to replace the previous building that was lost in a fire. The school closed in the 1950s alongside many others in Walnut township due to consolidation. After closing, the building was used as temporary housing. As of 2024 it is preserved on its original plot and used as the Walnut Center Inn. Two merry-go-rounds also remain on the property.
