Made from bone (possibly stingray vertebrae) and pebbles from rocky beaches strung upon a handwoven natural fiber string. Double stranded, the outer strand has a pattern of black pebble to bone for 30 "beads" right at the start of the tie. These necklaces were used for everyday wear by both men and women.
