This comb is made from a soft, light wood. They are carved to be relatively the same length on the bottom and the top has been cut into a "U" shape. There is a green and red geometrical pattern woven across the middle of the comb. Geometrical designs are common among Shipibo-Conibo culture because it holds value and meaning that represents their beliefs. The ability to translate the meaning has since been lost, but it is still commonly seen in their art.
