Headdress worn by men in the Awajún culture. Made from macaw feathers and tied onto a piece of chambira, a woven palm fiber natural to the Amazon Rainforest. There are many different feathers varying in colours including black, yellow, red, blue, and green. Feathers are woven into the chambira backing and the headdress is worn on the forehead and tied in the back.
