This machine-made, Smith & Wesson 38 M&P 2nd Model of 1902 38 Special Revolver is a six shot single action service revolver designed in 1889 and produced in 1903. Equipped with a nickel finish, chequered oak handle grips, and a blued finish, it is stamped with the serial number: 91794. Up until recently, throughout the 1900s this rifle with revolving cylinder bored to contain six cartridges has been used as a police and military firearm. The Smith and Wesson trademark can be found on the right side of the firearm.
