1996.17.1 (Diary)

Black leather diary with tuck-in flap leather clasp. The piece of leather in which the flap tucks under is located on the front cover, and measures 2" lengthy by 3/8" width. The flap is connected to the back cover. The inside of the front cover is pink and gives the name and address of the owner: Leonard E. Crosby. The diary gives the projected moon phases for 1865. It also has sections for recording Thoughts, Memoranda, Cash Accounts, and Bill Accounts of his time in the Federal army and following civilian life. Color: BK,CR,WH,PK
