Kpan mask. Striated three part hair. Center portion raised, 2 side portions end in upward slope. Zig-zag pattern along hairline in 3 half circle pattern. Raised smooth line follows zig-zag. White lines painted to follow raised line. Single raised nodule on forehead. One nodule carved above the outside corner of the eyes. 6 carved rectangular scar marks at each ear. 3 sets of 5 rectangular scars on either side of mouth. 3 bars between eyebrows. Eyes are painted white with black painted pupils. Open mouth with teeth painted white. Smooth raised beard and chin with spade shaped carving. Minor scratches on face. Deep scratch on side of nose. 2 shallow surface cracks on face under eye. Crack on lower mask rim. Small chunk of mask missing from same cracked area. Fiber cords and rubber thong attached to mask.
