3742 2020-FIC-107 Pamplet Uniform County Certificates for the State of Iowa in 1937. This was issued by the Board of Educational Examiners and explains regulations governing the uniform county teachers' certificates.
3743 2020-FIC-108 Pamplet Informational pamphlet on Area V Title II of the Elementary-Secondary Education Act of 1965. This pamphlet explains how Webster, Calhoun, Sac, Pocahontas, Buena Vista, Carroll, Greene, Hamilton, Wright, and Humbolt counties obtained 16 mm films, specialized books, and materials for the partially sighted students in their school districts. This pamphlet came from the Webster County Superintendent of Schools' Office in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Reprinted from Fort Dodge Messenger, Saturday, December 9, 1967.

White covers, bound with two staples.  Also accessioned as item 1986.4.369, part of the Aletha Jacobs Hutchison Collection and likely used while Aletha taught at Hummelstown High School in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.

3748 2020-FIC-114 Pamphlet A chart of communicable diseases issued by the Iowa State Department of Health in Des Moines, IA under commissioner Henry Albert, M. D. Undated. Includes information on diphtheria, meningitis, scarlet fever, smallpox, chicken pox, German measles, mumps, whooping cough, impetigo (scab), pediculosis (lice), pink eye, ring worm, and Vincent's Angina (Trench Mouth). Explains the symptoms of each disease and an estimate of when an infected child could return to school.  Printed between 1926-1930 based on the commissioner, Henry Albert's career.

Includes two extra papers inside the back cover: One shows "original tree cover, Indian trails shown on plat, Indian trails not shown on plats, early settler market trails, and pioneer homes" from New Hampton, IA to La Porte, IA. The other is titled "YWCA Tour of Historical Sights in Black Hawk County. Guide -- Clarence Baldwin" and has a map of the tour on the back.
