7 1998.20.24 Bell, animal Long hollow bamboo tube. 2 half-moon shapes on sticks are cut into the bottom; the top is concave. Two pieces of the tube extend upward for about 1/2" and have a hole in them through which the fiber rope is strung. The clappers are attached to the rope. Each clapper is in 2 parts - the upper part is connected to the rope and functions as a hinge, the lower part is the clapper itself and is attached to the hinge by a staple. The whole bell and rope is light brown; the clappers are dark brown. Color: BR,SL
