1	1975.31.1.1	Doll	Dressed in the attire worn in southeastern Poland by people living in the Carpathian Mountains. Boy has black painted boots, blue cotton long pants, white cotton blouse with red and black painted geometric design, red sash with yellow and green woven near edges, brown hair, fitted gray and black caracul hat.
2	1975.31.1.2	Doll	Girl. Red painted boots, white cotton dress with painted red designs, black cotton overskirt with red rickrack along bottom edge and up left side, yellow machine stitched thread above and beside rickrack. Red ribbon belt double around waist and tied slightly behind left arm. Three-strand red bead necklace. Silky brown human hair woven into a single braid down back, tied at end with red ribbon. Long gray and red ribbons around head and down back. Yellow, red, and white cloth flowers glued to ribbon across top of head.
3	1975.31.12	Gourd	Lacquered red at wide end, band of green peeling from neck of gourd, natural unpainted at narrow end where green has chipped off. Yellow flower and green leaves at bottom.
4	1975.31.13	Knife, paper	Spatula-shaped blade, round turned handle. Naturual color wood with hand-painted designs in blue, black, red, yellow, brown, green, and white on both sides of blade and on handle. Clear lacquer finish.
5	1975.31.14	Knife, paper	Possible bookmark. Unpainted light-colored wood. Ovate-lanceolate, double, with a shorter piece of same general shape lying avove the longer one. The slit separating the two suggests its possible use as a book mark. An 8-pointed floral star (edelweiss) carved at end opposite the point. Wood-carved design in upper portion of letter opener below star. bottom tongue of letter opener 3/4' longer than top one.
6	1975.31.15	Bowl, Spoon	Hand-painted, dark blue-green below, orange above and rim with floral designs throughout inside of bowl. Matching spoon, orange overall with painted floral design in bowl of spoon and along top surface of handle and sides of handle rest. a. Bowl b. Spoon.
7	1975.31.16	Spoon	Very light weight wood or some composition. Lacquered burnt orange with simple floral design in bowl. Bowl wide oval in shape. Handle long straight; painted black at end.

9	1975.31.18	Egg, Easter	Incised and painted in geometric designs. 2 large ovals on sides. 1 with large letters "XB" incised or wood-burned in it; the other with a table-or counter-top with 2 dishes of eggs, 2 mugs of beer(?) and a pyramid with"XB" on it. Egg separates into wide base and tall painted top. Hollow, unpainted inside. a, top and b. bottom.
10	1975.31.20	Flag	Replica of Polish royal flag around 1500. Wooden pole painted silver from base to flag and gold from above flag to pointed tip. Magenta color with painted silver-colored Polish eagle with spread wings in center of one side of flag. Crown on eagle's head indicates this is a very old flag (white eagle is symbol of Poland). One silver stripe painted along top and bottom borders of side with eagle. Attached to pole with 5 brass tacks. Magenta and white silk cord tied around pole just above top of flag in something like a bow with long streamers. One white loop: one magenta loop.
11	1975.31.3	Figurine, bird	Painted wooden bird. Stylized design with detachable circular pedestal base representing legs and feet. Oval hollowed body and detachable round head, which when rotated slightly creates a squeak in the rubbing neck region comparable to that of a bird call "whistle" used by bird watchers to attract birds. Enamelled bright orange-red with stylized painted wings, feathers, and eyes in blue, green, and yellow. a. Pedestal. b. Body. c. Head.
