Donated by Carol Clayton and Philp Barck, children of Harry Barck, given to the museum after his death in June of 1993, this donation was combined with school supplies from the Eddy School.

38	1993.37.27	Shoe	Shoes, men's everyday. Off-white. Heavy lowers made of automobile tire insides. At the heel and toe are 1/ 3/4" strips of some kind of dried untanned leather. Leather is the attaching item between the upper and the lower; this leather is stitched to the soles. The leather continues up the heel and is in the shape of a horn at the pointed toe. Color: CR
39	1993.37.28	Shoe	Shoes, everyday. Crocheted uppers, leather lowers; yarn on the soles; white. Uppers are white crochet that is horizontal to the sole but on top of the foot, the crochet pattern changes to perpendicular to the sole. The soles are made of layers of leather and stitched to the upper. On the sole of the shoes is knitted yarn stitched to the lowest layer of leather on the sole. "Iran" is written in black ink on green iron-on material and attached at the heel on both shoes. On the inside, the sole is marked in black ink. Pressed into the leather on each of the soles is another marking. a. Left. b. Right.

Three fan-shapes in gold thread and ten circles in red and turquoise suede decorate the top of the slipper. The upper also comes to a point at the center of the back of the heel. 44	1994.21.9	Shoe	Each made of one block of wood, rectangular in shape with rounded corners. Elevated with two blocks of wood, 1 1/4" x 3" x 1 1/2". One is 1" from heel, the other 4 1/2" from heel. One hole near front end, two near back for thong to be passed through and knotted. Thong is twine with multi-colored cloth stitched around it. Red undercoat with yellow and orange flowers, green leaves, and "Okinawa, 1950" painted in yellow on each heel. Color: ML

47	1998.17.5	Shoes	Black dress-up sandal heels. A strap comes up on both sides of the heel, then it wraps around the ankle with a gold buckle on the outside of the shoes. By the footbed, five individual straps come up and cross over the foot. The straps and heels are covered in satin. Base of the shoe is made from leather. The sole is a light brown plastic material. Brand: Kinney Shoes.
48	1998.22.1	Shoe	Hard brown leather sole with large white stitches. Brown leather comes up from the sole to form the sides of the shoe. The end near the toes forms a point and curls up. Gold stitching forms lines and circles on top of the shoe and surrounds the sides and heel. The interior is of red leather on the sides and green and brown leather in the center, with large white stitches connecting the twol. A design with 3 points and a circle at the bottom is in the center of the shoe and is of treen thread. The center is red thread. Color: BR,ML
