Crown 5 1/2' deep; 9 1/2" diameter, front to back, 8" side to side. 3 1/4" navy wool twill at bottom of crown; 2' gold wool twill around top of crown and across top of hat. White vinyl visor and 2 white vinyl chin straps, 5/8" adjustable length. 1' gold braid over navy at bottom of crown with white rayon cord trim and 2" silver pin lyre design at center front. "Uniforms by Ostwald icnc Staten Island, N.Y."
3	UNIM1986.14.1984.2.4	Hat	Gold felt hat. 4" deep, 3/4" wide brown grosgrain ribbon around the base of crown. Fastens in back. 7/8" wide gold grosgrain sweatband. Brim is 3" wide at front and tapers to 1 1/2" wide in back. Turns down in front, up in back. Brown ribbon and felt lacing near right front at top of crown add decorative detail. "Made in U.S.A" stamped in green on the inside.
4	UNIM1986.14.1985.4.18	Hat	Breton style woman's hat with rounded crown. Black velvet over coarse net lining. Over top, coarse black veil & 1/4" wide black velvet bow. Turned up brim, about 2 1/2' wide. Black with gold threads - brocade. Black grosgrain headband.

7	UNIM1986.14.1985.4.23	Hat	Flat top cloche style woman's hat. Stiff coarse white net form as base for crown. Covered with shiny white yarn & a crimped or boucle type yarn. 2" brim with white velvet binding. 7/8" white grosgrain headband. 2" wide grosgrain black ribbon around base of crown. Tailored bow.
8	UNIM1988.11.169	Hat	Elliptical 6" x 8 1/2" ; 4 1/2" deep; lined with black (silk?) fabric. The brim varies. None at back, 3" on sides, 2" at front. Sewn to crown. Edge cut to shape and edged with straw braid. Large spray of flowers around base of crown with foliage provide decorative detail.

Pouna Clothers Marshalltown Iowa" Brim is 1 3/4" wide bound with grosgrain ribbon - rolled edges on sides. 1" wide black grosgrain ribbon around base of crown in a bow provides decorative detail.
10	UNIM1993.15.3	hat	Black wool felt Trilby or boater hat with faux prink flowers on the side as well as felt circling the cap to cross in the back, stamped on the inside reading "Dover 100% Wool made in the U.S.A Fifth Avenue N.Y" rest is indescribable.
11	UNIM1993.15.5	hat	Brown flat/ Ivy Cap with bow, netting circling around the sides, and green faux feather. label reads "New York JD 340776" in the back. Elastic across to hold hat around the jaw.
