1 1990.63.43 Phonograph Two parts. a. Upright phonograph. Made by Brunswick c. 1920. Patented Dec. 2, 1916. Speaker is in front above the door to the album storage compartment. The speaker cover is a pink and white fabric that has floral design. Metal handle on the right side with a wood knob. Stands on four legs that are mounted on wheels. b. Pad, album cleaner. 6-sided elongated shape. Brown leather top with pink fabric on the underside. Stamped "Schlick's Music Store, Charles City, IA". c. Head, needle. Glass covered face. Extends. Needle arm extends from its center to the outside where the needle is fastened to the outer rim. The backside has a mounting bracket on it so that the needle head can be affixed to the phonograph arm. d. e. and f. Needle holders. There are three circular metal cups for holding needles. Stored in the wooden base at the rear of the phonograph album area.
