7 2014-3-1 Pencil Case A handmade wooden pencil case that has been doodle on. On the top of the lid there is the name "Carole" written in cursive in red wtih swirls and designs surrounding it. On the front there is a metal clasp that hooks around a nail protruding from the center with two flowers going in seperate directions parting at the middle with green stems and leaves but the petals are red. The proper right side has some design in red. The back has two metal hinges and "A Green School A" written in green cursive. The proper left side has a bunny rabbit drawn that is outlined in red and colored in white. The inside of the lid has "name" underlined on the proper left side and "Carole" written in white chalk and in darker, more clear writing "Carole Louise Stone" undernealth. The base ofthe box has three sections, two horizontal and narrow and one vertical that is thicker. "Carole Stone" is written in pen or pencil on the proper left side. 2014-3-1 (Pencil Case) image
8 2017-16-11A Box A wooden cigar box for “Gem of the West” nickel cigars, used as a school election ballot box, with red decorative paper glued to the wood. The interior of the box shows two women standing in the center of a western landscape, with a baby and a bald eagle flanking. A rough rectangular hole has been cut in the top of the box. Some pencil markings on both exterior and interior of box. Originally contained ballots on three different votes: school president, sale of a former schoolhouse site, and a bond issue for schoolhouse construction. 2017-16-11A (Box) image
9 2017-16-12A Box A white cardboard Pure Glycerine Soap box, used as a school election ballot box. A crude rectangular hole is cut in the top for ballots. The exterior and interior of the box have a large amount of pencil markings. Some involve math, some are names, and some are just scribbles. The names written on the box are: Sylvie and Goldie Nation, Flo Hanson, and Bessie. Contained ballots from several school elections, a receipt, and a note. 2017-16-12A (Box) image
