1 1998.5.29 Ephemera The school calendar of 1924. Each month in the year describes important inventions in American history on the top of the page. The first and last day of each week are printed in red while the rest of the days are black. Each month also has sunrise, sunset, moon phases and holidays. The back page of the calendar has a woman holding a wreath in each hand. She is wearing a cape. The calendar for 1924 and 1925 is on back of last page. 13 pp. Color: WH,BK,RD
2 2021-22-214 Scroll A story in color pencil on pieces of paper attached to two scroll poles. The story is the Ugly Duckling. The scroll poles are painted red and green. 
3 2023-FIC-5 Scroll Large, rolled home education scroll teaching basic methods of writing, language, phonetics, music notation, geography, biology, math, agriculture, and business. Top of the scroll reads "The Home Education." Rolled on two wooden rods. This scroll was most likely used in a fold-out desk or drawing board, where it could be put into a mechanism that allowed the student to turn a knob to roll to different parts of the scroll. These scroll desks were popular during the first several decades of the twentieth century.  2023-FIC-5 (Scroll) image
