The box contains three book; ,"The Hypsometer for Action Mathematics",  "Manipulating mathematics laboratory and surveying equipment" and "Field work in Mathematics-Manual-How to use the graphic hypsometer". The box also contains a small metal pendulum and a metal bolt with a washer and wingnut attached. The hypsometer has a sloped grid on it with a metal circle in the top center of the board.
