Case bottom has a "Remington Portable" typewriter attached. Typewriter has 47 keys with black symbols on a yellowing background . Tattered and moldy ink ribbon still in place. Red label on left side says "To Save Time is to Lengthen Life/Standard/Trade Mark Reg U.S. Pat. Office/Remington/Typewriter." Right side in gold lettering "Remington/Portable." Behind roller carraige a metal plate attached "Mochink Typewriter Co./Phone EM 2-0736 Cedar Rapids, Iowa" It also has a Smith-Corona logo on it. "Made in U.S.A." written on back. Ribbon color lever on right side of keyboard (red - black). Locking slide mechanism on right side. b. Lid, rectangular with tapering top. Inside includes bracket for cleaning brush. c. Cleaning brush is black with narrow handle with a 1" wide brush. Brush fibers are 9/16" and organized in two rows, each with 4 groups of fiber stands. One side of brush handle says "Royal" Inside of lid has 6 rubber cushions. (d) key is 1 7/8" long, 3/4" wide at its maximum; single notch, with large irregular ovate hole for attaching to key chain.
