The headdress has a broad nose and large, closed lips. Figurine is on a clay base that is indented a bit on the bottom. The back is plain. 13 1998.20.17 Pitcher Chibcha god depicted. Small hands and feet, painted orange. Large orange face is half of pitcher. Has big eyes which appear closed and lips; nose large with yellow gull's ring though it. Yellow ribbed collar around neck. Elaborate headdress with large half-circle earrings, points facing outward. Yellow lines drawn to create diamond shape. "Hat" is orange and curved like half circle, straight edge being the bottom. Lines carved crease squares and scallops across the front; has yellow flowers at top. Hat is trimmed along top with yellow border; lines cut into it, making it look like sun rays. 14 1998.20.19 Pitcher, water In shape of a woman from waist to head. Waist on down is round: main part of pitcher. Has arms on waist, with grooves cut into hands to indicate fingers. Straight torso with offset breasts. Crude facial features - lines and gouges to indicate mouth, eyebrows and eyes; sharp pointed nose. Ears somewhat shaped. Hair in back, partially colored black.
