Rising upward from the transition between the stem coated with copper strips wound in spiral, and the dibulu palette decorated with deeply engraved geometric patterns, the prestige figure is posed with her hands resting atop her breasts, symbolizing fertility. Emerging in high relief, the face presents a delicacy of the features and elegance of the high forehead. A graduated trapezoidal form rises from the top of her head, and is topped with a short cylinder. Metal attachment is hypothesized to have formerly held a whisk. |
