The back features a message from Harry Barck's cousin, a postmark for July 1, 1916, and is addressed to Mr. Harry Barck, Waterloo, Route 3, Iowa. Harry Barck was the secretary for the District Board of Education for Eddy #6 school, Cedar Falls Township, Black Hawk County, Iowa. He married Pauline Heckel, a teacher for rural schools in Bremer County and an Iowa State Normal School alumna. They had two children, Philip and Frances, who donated this item as part of the Harry Barck collection. |
