Color drawing of the human body on the inside cover page. There are also photos of various ailments and accidents. There are 25 chapters in the book ranging from suffocation, unconsciousness, seizures, brain injuries, effects of heat and cold, lightning, fractures, dislocations, wounds, accidents from machines, bleeding, poisoning, descriptions of poisonous plants, nightmares, earaches, how to bandage, disinfectants and signs of death. The outside of the book is a faded green color. At the top of the cover written in black are the words ACCIDENTS AND EMERGENCIES/ DULLES". Below that is a drawing of a human shoulder and arm that are being fixed from dislocation. At the bottom left written in black is "SEVENTH EDITION". The inside cover has in the upper left corner a sticker "BOUGHT CHICAGO MEDICAL CO.. Congress & Honore Sts. Chicago." On the inside cover page in the lower right corner is a stamp of a bear. The first is titled PRIMER OF SANITATION. This section includes 37 chapters covering Cells in the Body, Bacteria, Diseases, Public Sanitation, etc. The second section has 23 chapters and discusses the human body, muscles, body parts, digestive organs, food, and how to realize health problems. The section is titled primer of Physiology. The book is written to give a student a general overview of the human body and also to teach hygiene to students. Covered with a brown bag. There are two pencil drawings of circles drawn over that and at the bottom is an outline of a protractor ruler. The inside of the brown paer has written in pencil "20 quest." Under the brown paper black ink writing can be seen. The year "1932" is written in black. One the inside title page is written "Anna Flom" in black ink. Back page has pencil written notes.
