This book was used in the Sunnyside #6 school, Black Hawk Township, Black Hawk County, Iowa, by Gordon Sorensen (born 1922) and Norman Sorensen (born 1926). Features full-color illustrations. This book was used in the Otter Creek #4 school, Linn County, Iowa, by Leo Chrisman (born 1922). Hardback, red cover and spine, bound with fabric and thread, 317 pages.

Handwriting on the first page reads "Merth Chrisman, Dec. 30, 1920. Beulah Chrisman. 42 parallel of latitude, 93 meridian of longitude Iowa." This book was used in the Otter Creek #4 school, Otter Creek Township, Linn County, Iowa, by Merth Chrisman (born 1907) and Beulah Chrisman (born 1917). Hardback, brown cover and spine, bound with fabric and thread, 461 pages. 
12 RSC-Connecticut-7 Book "Records & Accompts of the 10th School District in Latisbury Connecticut. Began - 1799." Book is handwritten with ink, covers are suede leather with one line of clamshell-style border decoration. 
13 RSC-FIC-2 Book Book of a student's math & business notes and exercises. On the inside front cover is "Catharine Adamson's Book, May 25th 181_" (the last number is scratched out). The back pages were used as a day book noting purchases such as rice and currants from as far back as May 1783. A small light blue ribbon marked "The Pickaway County Agricultural Society 2nd Annual Fair 1853 Committeemen" is tucked between two pages near the end of the book. 
14 RSC-New York-15 Book "The Indestructible One Syllable Primer. For Home and School Use. One Hundred Illustrations. New York:-McLoughlin Bros. Copyright 1819 by McLoughlin Bros." A cloth book, handstitched together, featuring short stories, letter tracing exercises, vocabulary lessons, and an alphabet with icons next to each letter depicting 1-2 items that begin with that letter. The first page includes a handwritten note: "To Royal Wallingford - from Grandpa!"
15 RSC-Pennsylvania-1 Book "Miscellaneous Extracts from Different Authory. Whole by I. Sharplefs. West Chester Academy. The 22nd of the 1st Month 1816. Isaac Sharplefs's Property. Downing Town Chester County Pennsylvania." A handwritten book of a series of works from different authors transcribed by a student from West Chester Academy. 
16 RSC-Virginia-1 Book "John Trimbles book. Began February the 1st A.D. 1797. Numeration Tables Copybook." Handwritten book of lecture notes and exercises bound with thread. Pages toward the end include personal financial notes from the 1850s, written in blue ink. The names John, Thomas, and William Trimble are all written on the inside cover and first page.
