2 RSC-Ohio-148 Certificate Promotion to high school certificate from 1927. It reads, "Jefferson Davis School. Elizabeth Cissna, Having completed the Course of Study prescribed for the District of Schools of Dayon, Ohio, is granted this Certificate of Promotion to the High School." Signed by the superintendent, Paul C. Statson, president, Dr. H. B. Millhoff, principal, Elizabeth K. Brown, and principal, Mary E. Anshutz. The certificate is printed in black ink, has very minimal ornamentation, and has a large black and white photo of the large, three-story high school. "Elizabeth Cissna, 1927" is handwritten on the back.

4 RSC-Ohio-181 Letter Notification of failure to earn a teacher's certificate for Emil E. Albright of Fredericktown, Pickaway County, Ohio. Given on Feb. 14, 1910, at Circleville, Ohio. It gives the student's exam scores, states that Albright failed to earn the necessary grade, and lists exam grade requirements for earning elementary, high school, and professional certificates.  
5 RSC-Ohio-182 Card 1951-1952 report card for Jean Glass, grade 12B, from the Piqua High School, Piqua, Ohio. The classes listed are American Literature 11B, American history 11B, Civics, Biology 10B, Health, and Choir. The back is signed by both parents and has the printed signature of superintendent C. M. Sims. 
6 RSC-Ohio-192 Card 1915-1916 report card for Opal Ault, grade 7, semester 1, from the Convoy Public Schools, Convoy, Ohio. The teacher was E. H. Etter and the superintendent was W. F. Henney. The subjects graded include reading, spelling, writing, arithmetic, English, grammar, geography, U. S. history, physiology, drawing, agriculture, music, and rhetorical. The average grade was 96%. 
7 RSC-Ohio-193 Card Report card for Jean Rinehart, grade 3B, from Struthers High School, Struthers, Mahoning County, Ohio. The graded subjects include algebra, English, French, geometry, history, and Latin. She was #1 in her class for all reported semesters but one. 
8 RSC-Ohio-195 Card 1943-1944 report card for Karen Bauer, grade 8, in the Ely school, Elyria Public Schools, Ohio. The teacher was C. Hartman. The Pledge of Allegiance is printed at the top of the back, with two American flag icons.

The caption on the back reads "Tuscarawas Village (incl. 3 year high school)." The photo shows approximately fifty-three children with their teacher, posed in front of a brick building.

The photo shows thirty-three students with their teacher posed in front of a brick building. A small caption at the bottom explains that the teacher was Harry B. Grimm and lists the student's names.

14 RSC-Ohio-206 Souvenir 1896-1898 souvenir booklet from the Crooked Tree School, district No. 1, Jackson township, Noble County, Ohio. The teacher was C. M. Carpenter and H. S. Willis is marked as the officer. Printed by the Bixler Pt'G. Co., Canal Dover. Both pages have a gold, slightly embossed border, and the cover has a gold icon around the word "souvenir." The second page lists student's names. The pages are bound together with red and brown thread tied into a bow in the top left corner. 
15 RSC-Ohio-209 Program 1886 commencement program from the New Lexington High School, Perry County, Ohio. The cover has a card insert that lists the info and as an embossed, gold floral design. It explains that this ceremony was the third for the school and was held in a local church. Under this insert is a smaller card with "Bertha Hallowell" written in pencil. The first page lists the principal, R. B. Barrett, and the school board president, Dr. L. M. Greene. The second page gives the order of the program and names each person involved. The back cover says "Not Finished, But Begun" above a list of four graduates: Bessie Horsman, Bertha Hallowell, Abbie Brabson, and Fred W. Kelly. The white booklet is inside a white envelope labeled "school."
