1 2021-22-192 Height Chart A series of three, small, handwritten pieces of paper which list heights of children in a class. Each note includes whether students took their shoes off or kept them on. Sheet C is shorter than the rest, measuring at 10.5cm x 7.75cm. The papers are dated April 10, 1946(A), December 7th, 1945(B), September 7th, 1945(C).  The following is a list of names on each sheet: A: Hazel, Duane, Lois, Bert, John, James, Gae, Roger, Daryl, Delbert, Dorothy, Doris. The teacher also listed whether shoes were on or off. B: Daryl, Duane, Lois, Bonnie J., Dorothy, Lynn, Bert, Roger, James, Delbert, John, Ganelle, Doris, (other side) Doris. C: Duane, Doris, Daryl, Bert, Lois, Lynn, John, James, Delbert, Ganelle, Dorothy, Bonnie, Roger, Doris, Miss Holland (shoes on) (she measured 5ft 5.5in). Miss Gladys Holland was teaching at the Grant No. 9 school in Cass County in 1944 & 1945 but had moved to the Pymosa #3 school (also in Cass County) by 1947. 
2 2021-22-203 Certificate High School Normal Training Certificate for the State of Iowa, given to Gladys Holland, from Anita High School, on September 1st, 1942. The paper is signed by Superintendent of Public Instruction Jessie M. Parker. The back of the page lists which counties this certificate is valid for, including Cass and Shelby counties. Stapled to the front of the page is a 1/2 sheet of paper, dated January 2, 1941, that reads, "State of Iowa Board of Educational Examiners, Des Moines, Jessie M. Parker, President." It explains that the certificate is valid for 2 years from 9-1-1942. 
3 2021-22-204 Certificate High School Normal Training Certificate for the State of Iowa, given to Gladys Pauline Holland, from the Anita High School, on August 29th, 1947. The paper is signed by Superintendent of Public Instruction Jessie M. Parker. The back of the page reads, "This certificate is Registered and Made Valid For: Cass County, Sept. 29, 1947. Signed by the County Superintendent, Georgia Byrne." 
4 2021-22-205 Certificate High School Normal Training Certificate for the State of Iowa, given to Gladys Holland, from the Anita High School, on August 24th, 1944. The paper is signed by Superintendent of Public Instruction Jessie M. Parker. The back of the page shows which county this certificate is valid for: "Cass County, August 26, 1944, signed by the County Superintendent, Georgia Byrne." Stapled to the front of the page is a 1/4 sheet of paper that explains this certificate will expire "3 years from 8-24-1944 and may be renewed upon evidence of six semester hours or nine quarter hours of college credit earned since date of issuance."
5 2021-22-208 Membership Roll American Junior Red Cross Membership roll. Includes the names Delores Hansen, Ethel Karstensen, Jackie Jo Oakes, Paul, James Joyce, Jean Joyce, Robert Elwood, Gary Hansen, Jimmy Harris, and Gary A. Nelson all written in blue ink. Handwritten above the name is "Pymosa #3 1948.," indicating this was for the 3rd district school in Pymosa township, Cass County. The page was printed with dark blue and red ink and has a dark blue border with a chevron pattern. Two American Junior Red Cross crest logos are on either side of the page, above the list of names.
