451 2016-17-15 Grooved Axe Full grooved axe.  The blade of the axe is offset from chips and extended use.  The back of the axe is chipped as well.  
452 2016-17-16 Grooved Axe Semi-polished 3/4 grooved axe.  Small chips along the blade of the axe.  The blade of the axe is also offset and more worn on one side than the other.   
453 2016-17-17 Grooved Axe 3/4 grooved axe, grainy and not polished.  Blade of the axe has been worn and is no longer at a fine sharpened finish.

457 2016-17-21 Grooved Axe Polished 3/4 grooved axe.  The head of the axe has completely fallen off, along the groove of the axe.  The blade of the axe is slightly chipped.
458 2016-17-22 Grooved Axe 3/4 grooved axe, polished.  Axe blade is still to a point with several small chips.  One side of the groove is completley chiped off, measuring the entirety of the width, 7cm, while the other side is still in tact.  
459 2016-17-23 Grooved Axe Polished 3/4 grooved axe.  Slightly chipped blade, and the head of the blade is chipped as well.
460 2016-17-24 Grooved Axe Polished full groove axe.  No chips, althogh the axe head is worn from use.  The grooves are not completely rounded all the way around, the are very flat on both ends.  The grooves on each face of the axe are deep and the width is even throughout. 
461 2016-17-25 Grooved Axe Large 3/4 grooved axe.  The blade has been flaked, uneven, and missing large pieces.  The head of the axe is missing a large piece measuring 5cm.  
462 2016-17-26 Axe Broken axe head, with a clean cut where the groove of the axe would have been.  It is very smooth and the head of the axe is still fairly sharp.  There is flaking around the broken edge of the axe head.
463 2016-17-27 Pestle Completely rounded edeges thoughout.  One end of the pestle is more flat than the other, yet still slightly rounded.  There is a gummed seal on the object that reads "North Carolina."
464 2016-17-28 Celt Semi-polished celt with a rough and slightly chipped head, while the blade of the celt is only slightly chipped.  On of the of the faces of the celt there are red spots on the stone.  
465 2016-17-29 Grooved Axe Semi-polished 3/4 grooved axe with small chips throughout.  The grooves are worn and aren't as prevelant in some areas as others.
466 2016-17-30 Grooved Axe Lithic axe with curved hand grip that is very smooth with several rough spots and chips.  The blade of the axe is very used and is very blunt.  The chips around the object gives it a discolored look.  There is one larger chip on one face of the axe that measures 2.5cm.
467 2016-17-31 Celt Double bitted celt that is smooth all the way around.  Both blades have minimal chips.
468 2016-17-32 Grooved Axe Rough textured 3/4 grooved axe with small chips all around each face, but mostly the grooves of the axe.  The width of the blade is slightly smaller than the head of the axe.  There are also small chips along the blade of the axe.  
469 2016-17-34 Maul Rough 3/4 grooved maul, with the groove slightly off center.  Each side of the maul is a noticably different  size and texture, the smaller side being more smooth than the larger side.
470 2016-17-35 Celt Semi-polished celt with smooth rounded edges all around.  The blade of the celt had noticable chips.  On one of the sides there is a dicoloration in the stone giving it a brown spot instead of being completely black. 
471 2016-17-36 Grooved Axe 3/4 grooved axe with deep and even grooves throughout.  The blade of the axe has virtually no chips in it.  There is also a small chip in the head of the axe that measures 2cm.
472 2016-17-37 Grooved Axe 3/4 grooved axe that is smooth on one face and rough and chipped on the other face.  The edges are very rounded. 
473 2016-17-38 Grooved Axe Polished 3/4 grooved axe with the head of the axe broken off.  The majority of the back is missing, giving that area of the axe a rough texture.  
474 2016-17-39 Grooved Axe Rough 3/4 grooved axe with a large chip that took away most of the blade and one side of the axe.  The chip measures 7cm in length.  The actual groove in the axe is smooth unlike the rest of the surface.

476 2016-17-41 Grooved Axe 3/4 grooved axe, very smooth.  The blade of the axe is wider than the head of the axe.  The grooves have raised edges around all the way around the groove.  The head of the axe is also rounded and small.

478 2016-17-43 Grooved Axe Semi-polished 3/4 grooved axe.  There are several small chips in the blade of the axe which is still somewhat sharp.  The head of the axe is more rough in texture than each face.  There is slight discoloration around the object there there has been some scratching or chipping.
479 2016-17-44 Celt Very smooth and polished celt with a large chip near the blade.  The chip is on one side of the blade and most of the chip came from the face of the celt, measuring 5cm in length.
480 2016-17-45 Grooved Axe Full grooved axe that is rough and has two large chips out of the head of the axe.  The two chips measure, 4 cm and 4.5cm.  It has a very small blade, the head of the axe is wider than the blade.  
481 2016-17-46 Grooved Axe 3/4 grooved axe that is completely missing the blade.  The blade is broken off clean with only the groove of the axe remaining.
482 2016-17-47 Grooved axe 3/4 grooved axe with deep grooves.  The blade of the axe is rounded and worn, there are no obvious chips or major imperfections.  
483 2016-17-48 Maul Smooth full grooved maul.  Both sides of the maul are smooth and very founded off.  The groove around the item is crooked and not completely consistent throughout and is a lighter shade of gray than the rest of the maul.

487 2016-17-53 Grooved Axe 3/4 grooved axe.  The groove is closer to the middle of the axe, giving the head of the axe a larger appearance.  The blade of the axe also has several larger chips that continue slightly onto the face in some areas.
488 2016-17-54 Grooved Axe Smooth 3/4 grooved axe with a rounded blade and rounded head.  The grooves also has raised rounded edges throughout.  The blade is still at a point with minimal chips.  There are very small pink spots all around the object.

493 2016-17-59 Grooved Axe 3/4 grooved axe with deep and consistent groove.  There is a very small head of the axe giving the face the majority of the length.  The blade is rounded with small chips.
494 2016-17-60 Grooved Axe Smooth 3/4 grooved axe with very deep grooves with a small chip in the head of the axe measuring 1cm in length.  There are also small chips in the blade of the axe.
