93 1998.5.12 Postcard Front has a picture of the Presbyterian Student Center. The center is a large white building with a blue shingled roof. There is a tree off to the right. The back of the postcard has a 13-cent U. S. stamp in right corner. The left corner has a small paragraph describing the Presbyterian Student Center. Written in blue ink under the paragraph "Black Hawk Count Town Meeting. Tuseday March 29 7:00 p.m. at the Historical Society Rosemary". 94 1998.5.31 Booklet "Souvenir Folder of State College of Iowa, Cedar Falls, Iowa. 14 views in natural color" printed in red and then black lettering with a yellow background on the front cover. In the lower right hand corner of the front cover is a picture of the Commons. Also on the front cover in the upper right hand corner is a square that says "Place Stamp Here." Below that on the cover are three lines where an address is to be written. On the back cover is a picture of the Arts and Industries Building at the State College. Part of the shot is also a flap which closes inside the bottom of the picture. When opened the booklet opens to reveal twelve more views of the campus. Included on the inside are the Campanile, Auditorium Building, "Old" Administration Bujilding, Library, Baker Hall, Music Hall, Regents Hall Conplex, Men's Gymnasium, Bartlett Hall, Women's Gym, Campbell Hall, and Lawther Hall. To the right side of the front there are thick large trees while small trees scatter in front of the Administration Bujilding. The card is addressed to "Miss Nellie Watson, hazelton, Iowa" and a note is written, beginning "Dear Friend". There is a one-cent stamp pasted on the back with a postmark "Cedar Falls, Oct. 24, 8 A. In the picture railroad tracks and telephone poles are along the near bank of the river. The sun is just about to rise over the trees on the horizon. 99 1998.5.36 Postcard "Carnegie-Dayton Public Library, Cedar Falls, Iowa." is printed in black print with a white background. A photo of the library in black and white shows the front side of the building with a tree to the right side of the shot. There are two sets of steps leading to the entrance with two pillars to the left and right of the entrance. On the back the postcard is addressed to "Miss Nellie G. Watson, Hazelton, Iowa." 100 1998.5.37 Postcard "Paper Mill, Waterloo, Iowa." Card has an engraving of cows drinking water in the Cedar River in front of the paper mill. There are many trees on the distant bank. The paper mill is mostly a brick structure with two small chimneys and one large chimney. The card is addressed to "Miss Nellie Watson, Hazleton, Iowa" and a short letter is written on the left side of the back. The card was postmarked, but does not have a stamp.
