3	ED2019-169	Sweater	A school uniform sweater of the Scoil Oilibhéir primary school in Cork, Ireland. The patch on the left shoulder reads "Deo Gratias - Scoil Oilibhéir." It's a size 28 and made by the Deer Park Ireland brand.

10	ED2021-1	Yearbook	"The Normal Eyte" State Normal School, Cedar Falls Iowa, June, 1905. Volume 15 Number 35. Dedicated to Our Honored President Homer H. Seerley. The Normal Eyte was the first version of a yearbook issued by what would become UNI.
11	ED2021-11	Doily	An off-white crochet doily from Bosnia. Circular designs joined to create a diamond shape.
12	ED2021-110	Pinafore	Modern reproduction of a pinafore. A white, pinstripe with two pockets on the front. The opening buttons up in the back so that the pockets are on the front side of the body. This type of garment is worn over clothing, typically a blouse or a dress, to protect the clothing underneath. The small size suggests it was made for a child to wear.
13	ED2021-116	Book	A book from Bosnia which includes 12 oral, epic poems and a brief background on the oral literature of the Bosniak ethnic group. Written in Bosnian. The title is "Od Đerzelez Alije do Tala Ličanina, izbor iz usmene epike Bošnjaka" which translates to "From Đerzelez Allije to Tala Ličanina, a selection from the oral history of Bosniaks." The author is Denana Buturović and this edition was published in 1997.
14	ED2021-119	Stereoscope	A stereoscope from the early twentieth century. The eyepiece is made from a silver metal and contains a floral design and the words "sun sculpture trademark" across the top. On the piece of wood that divides the eyepiece is a black sticker which reads "Property of Iowa State Teachers College." On the end of the stereoscope is a small, white sticker which says "12." The handle on the bottom of the device unfolds so that the viewer can hold it and view the stereograph properly.

17	ED2021-125	Handkerchief	A translucent, tourist handkerchief from Norway. Along the border of the piece are 12 boxes, each labeled with a different month and an image representing a different Norwegian city. In the middle of the piece is the word "NORGE" in red lettering with the words "Norway - Norwegen - Norvège - Noruega" surrounding it.
18	ED2021-140	Pen	A plastic, black dip pen with a silver nib. The back of the nib reads "R. Esterbrook & Co. - 702 - School Medium Firm." A dip pen, unlike a fountain pen, must continuously re-dip into ink while writing in order to replenish the ink on the pen. This particular nib was targeted towards school children.

22	ED2021-145	Slate Pencils	A set of three slate pencils (A-C) from the late nineteenth century. The bottom of the pencils are gray and the top sections are wrapped in an American flag design. Children used these writing utensils to write on their slates in school. This method was much cheaper than writing on paper as students could erase their boards after showing the teacher their work.

24	ED2021-147	School Bell	A handheld school bell. The handle is black and the bell is a dark, brassy color with green oxidation marks starting to appear. Inside of the bell is a metal weight attached to a metal hook which swings back and forth to make noise. Compared to the other similar bell (ED2021-148), this one shows a lot more wear on the handle and on the bell.

The bell is a brown, brassy color. Inside of the bell is a metal weight attached to a metal hook which swings back and forth to make noise.
27	ED2021-184	Jersey	A Corcaigh (Cork County) hurling jersey from Ireland. The front contains the words "O'Neills" and "O2" and images of the Corcaigh logo and the GAA (Gaelic Athletic League) logo. The back says "Corcaigh" across the upper back. It is a child's size 9-10 and is red, navy blue, and white colored. It cost €37.00 and was purchased from O'Neills.
28	ED2021-185	Wool	A roll of cream-colored Aran wool from Ireland, from the Tivoli brand. Aran wool famously is used to make Aran wool sweaters which originate from Ireland.
29	ED2021-187	Activity Book	An activity book titled "Prva Početnica." It's intended for preschool-aged children in Bosnia to learn about basic concepts such as the Bosnian alphabet. Includes coloring pages to practice letters, examples of words that begin with each letter, and an illustration to demonstrate the example words. Written by Šefkija Merzić and illustrated by Dževdet Nikočević in Svjetlost, Sarajevo.

37	ED2021-49	Doll, Troll	A small troll doll from Norway. The troll is in a sitting position and holding mini-versions of a man and a woman, one in each hand. Troll appearance: wild black hair, tan overalls, a long nose, big ears, and a long tail. A golden sticker with the words "Candy designs - Norway" is on the bottom of the doll.
38	ED2021-50	Coffee Pot	A Turkish coffee pot (other names: ibrik, coffee ibrik, cezve) with a silver cup base and a redish-brown handle.
39	ED2021-52	Postcard	Three replica postcards, laminated. A-C. A: Folded card, featuring a cut out drawing of a rabbit with flowers. Exterior: "Easter Greetings". Interior: "Some Easter wishes were planted- /The grew, and grew, and grew,/ And now, beneath each each flower pot/ You'll find them blooming/ for you," opposite: drawing of three potted flowers. B: Single sheet postcard. Front: Brown, black, and pink drawing of stylized flowers and butterflies. "A Birthday Greeting/ I've a weakness for beautiful flowers/ For very nice people-- and how!/ But wishing you Birthday gladness--/ That's my weakness now!". Back: Personal letter beginning "Dear Sister", dated Sept 22, 1932. C: Single sheet postcard. Front: Printed image of a witch riding a broomstick in front of houses at sunset. "Hallowe'en Joys/ Here's-wishig-that-this-Hallowe'en/ Will-bring-you-much-delight;/ Its-joys-remain-as-a-parting-gift/ When-the-witches-take-their-flight." Back: Personal letter beginning "Dear Sis + bro:" Postmark: "Cooksville, ILL: Oct 31 PM 1935" 1 cent stamp, Addressed to "Mrs. Wilbur Lesher, Towanda, Illinois."
40	ED2021-54	Glasses	Children's eye glasses from the 1930s. The glass pieces are rimmed in a gold color and the ear pieces are very looped, almost resembling a candy cane shape.
41	ED2021-57	Shell, Sea	A plastic bag containing 8 shell halves (clam shells) of varying sizes and a smaller, plastic bag containing about 22 shell buttons. 6 of the shells have circle-shaped, cut-out holes from button-making. At one point in history, Muscatine, Iowa was considered the "pearl button capital of the world" since its location on the Mississippi river provided a lot of clam shells for pearl button manufacturing. (Items: A-E, G-I= shells, F = small bag of shell button cut outs).
42	ED2021-58	Stereograph	A stereograph with a picture of a man sitting in a boat on a canal in Italy. The image is titled "The Rialto Bridge, Venice" and lays on top of a general, green background color. Stereograph images were viewed through stereoscopes and allowed the viewer to see the image in 3D.
43	ED2021-59	Stereograph	A stereograph with a picture two people sitting underneath a tree on a rural landscape. There is no title for the image. The pictures are surrounded by an orange background color. Stereograph images were viewed through stereoscopes and allowed the viewer to see the image in 3D.

45	ED2021-61	Curling Iron	A victorian-era curling iron, with a slim, metal tong base and wooden handles. The user would stick the metal tong base either on a curling iron heater or in the flame of a heat source (i.e. candle) and use the heated tongs to curl their hair.
46	ED2021-62	Coffee Pot	An old, metal, Turkish coffee pot. It has a circular base, a triangular spout, a curved handle, and a lid attached with a hinge. The lid contains an oval pattern around the base and is topped off with a pointed decoration. The pot may have had more of a design on the body at one point but has faded away over time.
47	ED2021-7	Coffee Pot	Small brass coffee pot with weighted lid. Engraged with diamond and oval designs around the body of the pot.
48	ED2021-70	Khokhloma Set	A Khokhloma set from Russia featuring 2 mini cups (A,B), 1 small spoon (C), and 1 big spoon (D). Khokhloma painting originates from Russia where the artist paints wooden utensils with bright, colorful colors and designs. This set was painted using the colors gold, black, orange, green, and red. The 2 cups have stickers on the bottom which both translate to "Khokhloma Painting, Glasses, Price 06.95."
49	ED2021-81	Book, Hymnal	A hymnal book written in German for German-speaking immigrants in the United States who practiced Christianity (most likely the Lutheran denomination) and formed their own congregations. It was printed in 1894 in Cleveland, Ohio and the title reads "Gebet und Danklieder" which means "Prayer and Thanksgiving Songs." There is no image on the cover, just the title and a victorian-style border across the top and the bottom.
50	ED2021-82	Book, Prayer	A small prayer book for children who spoke German and practiced Christianity (most likely the Lutheran denomination). It was printed in 1909 in Columbus, Ohio and likely for German immigrants who created their own German-speaking congregations. The title reads, "Gebete für die Kleinen" which translates in English to "Prayers for the Little Ones." On the front cover is an image of Jesus Christ with three children surrounding him.
