Knee-length tailored day dress with blue woven design. Asymmetrical fold on front chest area, with bottom clasp behind a bow style belt. Clasps continue down the center of the dress, starting at the waist line. Two tags sewn into the neck entitled" Christian Dior New York" and "B. Altman and Co.". Donated by a former home economics professor who taught at the Iowa State Teacher's College.
