The book also contains biographies of important Iowans like Homer Seerley, Nannie Torrace, Wilson Lewis, etc. Contains maps of Iowa showing high schools and their locations during 1865 and 1888. The outside cover is an orange-red color. There are two horizontal lines, one at the top and one at the bottom of the page. In between the lines, the title is printed in black. The inside front cover has a small rctangular sticker in the top left corner, reading "Library of Melvin F. Arey." There is a quote on the sticker that says "And please return it. You may think this is a stange request, but I find that, although many of my friends are poor arithmeticians, they are nearly all of them good bookkeepers." Color: BK,RD
