This Certifies that Minnie Jane Jenkins has completed the Course of Reading prescribed by the Board of Director of the Illinois Pupils' Reading Circle and in testimony thereof this Diploma is awarded. It is signed by the teacher, R. W. Kennedy, the county superintendent, G. M. Wilson, and a trustee, A. K. Gilbert. The certificate has a thick, red, decorative border as well as a highly decorated, blue-tinted banner at the top with two ribbons saying, "Public Schools of Indiana" and "Honor to Whom Honor is Due." It was printed by Wm. B. Burford, Lith. Indianapolis, Indiana.
