39036 UNIM1986.14.1981.13.22 Bodice Young girl's white cotton batiste blouse. Set-in half-length sleeves are slightly puffed and feature lace at ends. Square neckline with lace border. Two lace stripes run vertically down center; another two vertical lace stripes run down back. An eyelet insertion runs down vertically from each shoulder. Lace hem at bottom.  Buttons up back center with nine small, circular mother-of-pearl buttons; the button that was third from the bottom is missing. Bodice was once part of a full dress, but the skirt part was cut away.

Flowers are also embroidered up and down the skirt. Long sleeves with eyelet trim at wrists. Skirt hem is scalloped. 3 button closure, but no buttons.

High collar, lined with same fabric as the eyelet ruffle on sleeves. Yoke is decorated with sewn-on lace; lace has poinsettia pattern. Skirt is tightly gathered at the yoke; it is long and has a border of lace at the hem; lace is the same as the style on the yoke.

The needles have flat triangular dull points, and the larger needle has a big eye. There is a bit of wear on the needles but overall good condition.
