Benton No. 6

The Dryden School (Benton No. 6) was named after a nearby landowner and early settler of Ringgold County, Thomas Dryden. Depending on the source, the school closed on either May 16, 1913 or in 1917. The district was consolidated into the Maloy Consolidated School District immediately after. Photo credit: Originally uploaded to IAGenWeb by Sharon R.
