CultureLab
As a research museum, we provide direct experience working with historical collections using state of the art equipment. CultureLab provides a dedicated space where patrons can access the collections under staff guidance and have open dialogue about the historical and scientific contributions of their work.
Tools
The CultureLab provides the basic tools useful for any basic museum conservation/preservation projects. These include:

- HEPA Vacuum (2)
- Vacuum and Humification Tables (Small & Large)
- Teaching Tables / Teaching TV
- Brushes and cleaning tools
- Industrial Freezer
- Disaster Cart
- Ventless Fume Hood
- Cleaning Chemicals
- Book Cleaning Tools
While all tools are available to the public, all non-UNI visitors will be required to go through basic training and might be required to have supervision depending on the requested equipment.
