Bottle of Powes and Gibbs turpintine, glass with cork stopper. Small rounded bottle with tan label on the front with the names of the druggists who distributed the product and their location printed in black ink, surrounded by an ornate, rectangular boarder, in the very center of the label the word "Turpintine" is written in a cursive script in what appears to be purple ink but may be faded black ink. The cork stopper is blackened and has been ripped in half, with half being below the lip at the top of the bottle and the other unattatched but included in the bag that contains the object. the embossed letters "L&W" appear on the bottom of the bottle. Inside is a congealed and viscous looking orange liquid.
