Atlas E-Z Seal spring-top glass jar. Glass is clear with a slight blue tint, "Atlas E-Z Seal" is embossed on one side as well as on the bottom of the jar, are the words "Trade mark reg". The mechanism for the spring-top is metal which has become very rusted and somewhat degraded over time. The lid is made of the same glass as the base and has a very slight dome shape, in the middle of the top of the kid is a raised half circle, on top of which are two raised strips of glass that leave a gap in the very center of the half circle which allows for the spring-top mechanism to securely close. This object is made up of two parts, the base (2a) and the lid (2b).
