Shelf style sliding box from Yardley London, cardboard. Object is made up of two parts, an outer lid (11.46a) and an inner "shelf" (11.46b); both parts are primarily light blue on the outside and white on the inside. The outer lid has a section of white on the top which contains an image of several pink and purple flowers arranged with green foliage, under this image "Yardley London; Makers and Distributors For U.S.A., Yardley, New York; Contents 8 Ozs.". The inner "shelf" has no outer details, decoration, or text, "2N2" is stamped in green ink on the bottom right inside corner. Both parts show signs of wear and have scratches in the blue paper outsides, revealing white beneath.
