Two piece white satin wedding dress with separate cummerbund. Hourglass silhouette. a. Skirt with lace inserts. Skirt flared with four double-pleats in front and four in back at about knee length. Above each pleat a circular lace applique with long lace insert from top of circle up to waistband. Side opening with hooks and eyes and matching lace on satin piece extends down the side about 13 1/2" covering the opening. Below this piece is a series of three pleats extending to hem. Three 1 1/4" satin bands all spaced evenly from bottom hem.All around the skirt are long, narrow folds of fabric held together with very thin, twisted thread. At the bottom of these folds are decorated circles made out of the twisted thread. b. White satin top of wedding dress. Becomes narrow at the waist. Opens down the front. Front gathered at waist. Back is fitted with embroidery at waistline. Top of blouse V-shaped yoke. Front of alternating bands of satin and silk string lace extending to round yoke back. Yoke finishing with satin border below which is a 5 1/2" lace ruffle. Down center, three full length satin stripes with silk strings lace between. Large satin bow at bustline. Stand-up collar of three bands of satin with silk string lace between. Also lace ruffle at bottom front. Puffed satin sleeves below elbow then alternating satin bands and silk string lace. Hook and eye closure except at very bottom. Princess cut with well-done, pressed-open seams, finished with pinking shears. c. satin cummerbund. Gathered 2 1/4" center front and 1/4" back. Very smooth and plain, with a few pleats and puckers in the back. 24 1/2" long , with 2 hook and eye closures. Color: WH
