Dated circa 1840-60, this steele constructed, .45 caliber Williams English flintlock boot is equipped with a reproduction curved walnut handle. The round, twist-off barrel and folding trigger is case hardened with a blue finish. This original flintlock confirmation also contains a sliding safety. On this firearm, the upper jaw and upper jaw screw is missing from the hammer. The manufacturer's name is engraved on the left side plate. Proof marks are located on the bottom of the barrel. Other engraved designs can be seen throughout the firearm.
