Roman, 1st to 4th centuries A.D. Outside top rim (not flared). Clear, transparent glass with greenish cast and irregular bubbles. Rounded from top to base. Base indented in center. Accompanying printed label: "Roman glass. This glass vessel is a genuine specimen of Roman glass. It was excavated from a Syrian archaelogical site and dates from the 1st to 4th centuries A.D."
