Fractional currency, Fourth issue, Variety 1268, Fifteen cents. Featuring Bust of Columbia.
As stated in LittleCoin Company database, the Fourth issue of fractional currency is the only issue to include 15 cent notes.
Fourth issues were also the first to depict the treasury seal. (Red stamp seen in middle of note.) This was a short lived printing.
Note: In the history of U.S Currency with the exception of Sacagawea, very little depict representations of woman as actual political figures.
