Metal, with lid (detached). ISNS. a. This was the container of the time-capsule that was inside the cornerstone of Gilchrist hall. It has a copper exterior and probably a tin interior. The box is charred on the outside and has copper color showing through. b. Lid to box. There is an inscription in the corner of the lid, "Leo E. Sheerer." It has a copper band inside the top edge on tin that is probably the seal. Color: SL,BK,GY
