Teak pipe bowl carved by a Confederate soldier while in prison. It was done to show the donors father how the south won the Battle of Bull Run. The bowl has the carved letters RUN surrounded by carved pictures which include: a slider with a bayonet, a gun, a shock of wheat, a bullet, a soldier in flight, a horse, a heart, and a bull. According to Everett Alderman: "Beginning with the carving of the bull, and the RUN (The N is reversed). Turning the pipe bowl to the right, a Northern soldier on a 'stretcher', a Northern solider has thrown down his rifle and runs into the wheat field for protection leaving his equipment behind.
