Easter card. The cover has a small, embossed illustration of two white flowers against a purple background, a short purple ribbon tied as binding on the left-hand side, and the embossed words "Easter Greetings." The inside sheet has the following poem: "The singing birds, the budding flowers, Proclaim glad Easter day. Remembrance enters, friendship bowers, and bid each heart be gay." Signed, P. L. H. The card is inside an envelope addressed to Mr. Harry Barck, R. F. D. #3, Box 91, Waterloo, IA, postmarked at Waterloo, April 18, 1919, at 9pm.

Harry Barck was the secretary for the District Board of Education for Eddy #6 school, Cedar Falls Township, Black Hawk County, Iowa. He married Pauline Heckel, a teacher for rural schools in Bremer County and an Iowa State Normal School alumna. They had two children, Philip and Frances, who donated this item as part of the Harry Barck collection.
