Five pieces of processed bark sewed together to form shopping bag. Two pieces are side panels, one the bottom panel, 33 3/4" wide, and two pieces the handles. Top edge and bottom panel have widely spaced blanket stitch of twisted twine, which secures the unbleached muslin lining to the bag. One side panel has two motifs painted on. Each is of 2 stylized animals facing each other. Animals are drawn in black, as are the mouths and eyes. Eyes and background are red. Red background outlined in wide black line.
