Above the teeth the wood is smooth except for a line etched in the shape of a triangle, extending from the top of the teeth almost to the bottom of the handle. Inside this triangle etching there is a random zig zag pattern. The handle is a human face with well-defined eyes, nose, mouth, and hair.
